Tonight was a very important night for me, maybe even more exciting that actual graduation from college. Tonight was the Senior Showcase held at the Wiseman Museum. It was very neat that I got hundreds of people from all walks of life looking at my art work, but I think what was far more important were the people that came. Tonight I saw some (but not all) of the most important and inspiring people in my life. I could not have asked for a better crowd. Even the long-haired band playing just added to the artistic background. I must say the band was also a highlight of my night, they were very cool guys.
A good friend told me that I need to surround myself with positive people which exert positive energy, I don't think that could be more correct. I think a good potion for a happy life is surrounding yourself by the people that inspire you most, people who have a passion for what they love, who encourage you to reach your full potential. There are rare people in life that truely connect with and understand you and I think that they are the most precious and should be cherished. Tonight I was a lucky person and I got to be around some of the people that I respect and inspire me the most.
