Rockfest 2007

Yesterday, myself and a friend of mine went to Rockfest 2007, it was a very rad concert! However, I must preface this with prior to the concert we went to go get a drink before the concert started and a guy literally rolls in on roller blades goes to the bathroom, grabs a mint or two and rides off. I thought that it was funny and I made a comment that with his long blonde hair he looked like a surfer. Interestingly enough, a few hours later a band called "Puddle of Mud" comes on and it is the same roller blader, surfer (I am pretty sure). Crazy! Not only were the bands rad but we also ran into some Monett kids and hung out with them during the concert. The highlight of my night was while Breaking Benjamin was playing it started pouring...it was awesome I took my t-shirt off (I had a swim suite on) and danced my heart out. There is nothing like listening to great bands and dancing in the rain occassionally putting a hand up to support the crowd surfer. The bands there were: Troy, Skillet, Red, Puddle of Mud, Three Days Grace, and Breaking Benjamin. Life is good! Rock on!
