Last weekend I went to Denver to the Mile High Music Festivle and of course to see Annie as well. Anyway, when I was in Denver in March I saw the adds for this festivle and once I saw Rodrigo y Gabriela were on the docket I was on board. I spent the money and flew to d-town. I did manage to get pretty wrecked most of the nights so it made for early afternoons. Saturday I saw Tom Petty (who is I'm sure like 95) and the song that I really wanted to hear/see was "Last Dance with Mary Jane", but had to pee so I missed it...Blah. Oh well, I left Kam amidst 50,000 people and somehow managed to find him. Sunday was the real day I was looking foward to for months...I saw Colbie Calliet (I'm sure I miss spelled that)she was ok but right after was R y R, which I must say they did not let me down they were amazing. My fat ass pulled a muscle from jumping up and down so much. Later John Mayer came on...not so good, sorry for all you JM fans. Dave on the other hand awesome as always. Sunday there happened to be about 70,000 people so it was hot and crowded but to see Dave was well worth the huge mass of bodies. Anyway, Dave's encore was the shit! He got down on the last song took off his guitar and danced and danced and dance. What a performer! There's a reason that I return to see Dave every summer. Tuesday morning it came to an end and I flew off to the real world again. Today, I got a text from Annie and her and Kam decided that they were going to come a day early and be in MO for my b-day, which is pretty cool! As Annie mentioned its been years since we have got to celebrate each others b-day so this one will be cool because I will be with a few of the most important people in my life. Its crazy because I might be celebrating her bday in Costa...awesome. Peace, Love, and Rock N' Roll.
