Since the beginning of starting my project- my photography studio and art gallery. I have begun to feel utterly amazing, that anything is possible. I work alot but the rewards thus far have been really worth the cost. I am doing something that I love to do- art. I not only get to deal with my art by with artists and their work. I get to actually use my "art" degree and talk about good composition, color, balance, theory. It has been a great ride and everyone that has helped make the studio possible have been a blessing to work with. I have about one more week until opening and ALOT to do, but I am very excited about starting a small art scene in a community where it is needed-especially in the downtown area. Also, I feel very blessed to be around such amazing people, my old close friends, my new friends that I have met at various jobs. It is very encouraging to have such great support around the board.
A few weeks ago I got to use my studio lights for the first time and I took some really great shots of Adam, which can be seen at http://www.jeannineblankinship.com/ under Menu, click Headshots then Adam. They turned out great especially since I shot them after having four Red Stripes and falling off the ladder. I am really slick-let me tell ya.
