art in all forms

School was cancelled today due to Wilma still being round. Yesterday I was Very bored, but didn't do much about it. Today, I had another day and I didn't want to succomb to boredom again. So, I ran to school, made sure everything was safe and secure. I watched alot of TV, cracked open a coconut and harvested that. Getting into a coconut is a pretty hard endeavor but success! I then went running in the rain and took movies back. Afterwards, which is the fun part I started to get into the art zone. I painted. It has been a few weeks and I was feeling absent from the art world but all it comes back so quickly. I love art. I adore it, breathe it and cannot be without it. with that in mind it is my intention to fill up my sketch book with art and not be lame and just sit idly.

I'm sure we will have school tomorrow. I am excited. Even teaching second and third grade I have to make it and important idea to show creativity, to enhance young minds beyond the normal. I want them too to explore the world, they just need someone to help them find the tools. As always, art and learning takes shape in many forms and in many fashions. hopefully I am leading them in a good direction and providing the proper tools.
