Facebook Addict...

Hello. My name is Jeannine and I am/was addicted to Facebook. With that being said, I have come into recovery and deleted my Facebook. Unfathomable to some, but necessary to my sanity now. To understand how deep-seeded this is, I became a memeber in 2004, when Facebook was only available to college students and only allowed for a profile. Originally, you couldn't even put a profile picture up. I was on Facebook while I was in Argentina 7 years ago. 7 years! Some people are finally getting Facebook, but I've been on for that long. Will I succumb back to Facebook? Perhaps. Perhaps not. Who knows. What I do know is Facebook leads to looking up people you may have only talked once; checking out their pages, their friends, their photos. Who gives a.... I don't and am ensuring that I take a time out. When I return, I will be better able to control my time on Facebook. For now it is a necessary step. So now, I disappear for awhile into the non-cyber world. Check out more from my post-Facebook blogs as I will be writing my little heart out.
